What We Collect

FadeProof collects the minimum data necessary to provide the service. This includes:

• Account information: email address, name, and password (or Google OAuth credentials)
• Artist profile data: studio name, city, state, zip code, bio, Instagram handle, booking link, years of experience, and style tags
• Client records (artist side): client names, contact info, tattoo session history, placement notes, medical/style notes, and reference photos
• Portfolio photos: images uploaded by artists for their public PinUp profile
• Canvas user data: name, email, and list of saved/hearted artists
• Location (approximate): city, state, and zip code for map placement. We never store precise street addresses publicly.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to power FadeProof features — the Client Vault, Aftercare Autopilot, Wake The Dead re-engagement, and the PinUp discovery map. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the service.

Third-Party Services

FadeProof relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — database hosting and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing for artist subscriptions
• Resend — transactional and aftercare email delivery
• Mapbox — map rendering and geocoding
• Vercel — application hosting

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data Ownership

Artists own all of their client data. FadeProof is a tool — we store your data securely so you can access it, but we do not claim ownership over any client records, tattoo histories, reference photos, or notes you create. Your data is yours.

Canvas User Privacy

Canvas users provide a name, email, and optionally a home zip code. Location data is used solely to center the discovery map and is never stored with precision beyond zip code level. When a canvas user hearts an artist, the artist sees only the total count — not who specifically saved them.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data — profile information, client records, photos, aftercare sequences, and saved artists — is permanently deleted from our systems.
